Children’s Headshot Photography

Having portraits photographed of your children are so incredibly important to have. I’m not talking 1980’s style with false grins and white turtle neck jumpers either.

But more simple and considered shots that convey children’s true characters, for that is the very essence of what makes them ‘them’. If you try and get them to pose awkwardly, then you end up with photos that are too staged and managed which defeats the object.

We all have great cameras on our phones now which take nice photos, but at the last count I had over 30,000 images on my iphone. There will be loads of great memories and shots of my children growing up in there, but like most of us these photos tend to stay on our devices and I never do anything with them.

The total opposite happens when you book a headshot session in with a professional photographer. Once the edits are complete someone is 100% more likely to get prints made for the home.

Not only this, but these photos can have a two-fold use if a client is to use them to boost their child’s profile on Spotlight, or to update agency photos.

With my children’s headshot photography sessions at my base in Tunbridge Wells in Kent, we spend our shoot time getting the very best and natural images that will serve all these purposes and more.
